Crystal structures of isoquinoline–3-chloro-2-nitrobenzoic acid (1/1) and isoquinolinium 4-chloro-2-nitrobenzoate
In each of the title isomeric compounds, C9H7.3N·C7H3.7ClNO4, (I), and C9H8N·C7H3ClNO4, (II), of iso-quinoline with 3-chloro-2-nitro-benzoic acid and 4-chloro-2-nitro-benzoic acid, the two components are linked by a short hydrogen bond between a base N atom and a carb-oxy O atom. In the hydrogen-bonded unit of (I), the H atom is disordered over two positions with N and O site occupancies of 0.3...
متن کاملCrystal Structure of Schiff base Compound 2-[(2-chloro-4-nitrophenyl) iminomethyl] phenol
Single crystals of Schiff base compound 2-[(2-chloro-4-nitrophenyl) iminomethyl] phenol (1) were grown by the slow evaporation technique at room temperature. The crystal structure of the title compound was determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction. The title compound crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group P21, with two symmetry independent molecules. Intramolecular O-H···N hydr...
متن کاملCrystal structure of 4-chloro-2-iodoaniline
In the crystal structure of the title compound, C6H5ClIN, the amino group engages in N-H⋯N hydrogen bonding, creating [100] chains. A Cl⋯I contact is observed [3.7850 (16) Å]. The parallel planes of neigbouring mol-ecules reveal highly offset π-stacking characterized by a centroid-centroid distance of 4.154 (1), a centroid-to-plane distance of 3.553 (3) and ring-offset slippage of 2.151 (6) Å.
متن کامل2-Chloro-4-(2-iodobenzenesulfonamido)benzoic acid
In the title compound, C(13)H(9)ClINO(4)S, the dihedral angle between the aromatic rings is 81.04 (17)°. The disposition of the I and Cl atoms attached to the two rings is anti. In the crystal, mol-ecules are connected via O-H⋯O and N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds.
متن کاملNovel pathway for the degradation of 2-chloro-4-nitrobenzoic acid by Acinetobacter sp. strain RKJ12.
The organism Acinetobacter sp. RKJ12 is capable of utilizing 2-chloro-4-nitrobenzoic acid (2C4NBA) as a sole source of carbon, nitrogen, and energy. In the degradation of 2C4NBA by strain RKJ12, various metabolites were isolated and identified by a combination of chromatographic, spectroscopic, and enzymatic activities, revealing a novel assimilation pathway involving both oxidative and reducti...
